2020-2021 LTC Planner Covers
In my role as a student worker for Lakeshore Technical College’s Student Resource Center, I created two-sided, front and back covers for the 2020-2021 LTC planner.

The goal was to come up with designs that would sum up the LTC experience. Through my designs for the LTC planner covers, I needed to capture students’ attention and convey important information. I also needed to make sure students felt heard and understood.
When creating the designs for the inside and outside of the planner covers, one of the requirements was to adhere to the standards laid out in LTC’s style guide. I also needed to reflect the college’s welcoming brand personality.
Outside Front Cover
For the outer side of the front cover, I needed to sum up LTC’s student life at a glance. I did this by adding a layer of words and phrases that describe the LTC experience over the top of background image of the college’s campus. I used varying font weights and aligned the descriptors in a way that provides visual interest.
Inside Front Cover
For the inside front cover, I incorporated LTC’s brand colors by including a lime green and turquoise gradient as the background. I also featured an image of LTC’s 2020-2021 WTCS Ambassador that I had previously captured and edited.
Inside Back Cover
For the inside of the back cover, I incorporated LTC’s Leard, Lead, Succeed color palette through the use of a background gradient. I used those colors for the subheadings, as well.
Outside Back Cover
For the outside of the back cover, I created icons to illustrate the four areas of resources available to LTC students.
